She also teaches AI applications for business as part-time faculty at Simon Fraser University.Dr. Zhao holds a BSc from Peking University\, a PhD in Chemistry from the University of British Columbia \, and a mini MBA from the Sauder School of Business. She is a recipient of the UBC Chemistry Young Alumni Award.
