This webinar is part of our Small Business Week 2026 celebration (October 19–25), designed to support and empower local businesses with practical insights, valuable resources, and tools to help them succeed!
What Are Your Blind Spots?
Leading and motivating your team in a small business
Most small business owners work very hard, and still the team does not always do what they need. The item of the month does not get pushed, the add on does not get offered, and the same questions keep landing back on the owner's desk. It is easy to put that down to the team. Often the answer is closer to home, in how we lead them.
Every business has blind spots. I may feel I am building the best culture ever, and that I am doing a great job as a leader. The blind spot could be that my team is not as motivated as I think, or that they do not look up to me the way I hope. Some blind spots we have already fixed. Some we do not even know are there. And they come back, often when new people join and bring their own way of doing things.
In this session we will look at some common leadership blind spots in small businesses, then go deeper into the ones that matter most to the people in the room. It will be engaging and interactive, with the chat and quick polls running throughout, so you get a real interactive experience rather than just listening to a presentation.
Who Should Attend?
Small business owners and managers who lead a team, even a small one.
Retail, hospitality, personal services and other customer facing businesses, as well as B2B.
If you have ever wondered why your team does not do what you ask, or found yourself answering the same questions again and again, this session is for you.
