It's time for the 3rd "Waves Wednesday" event of the series, on Wednesday June 4th from 7:30-9:00am!

This event is part of the Event Series called "Waves Wednesdays" presented by the New West Chamber of Commerce and Downtown New West BIA and hosted at Waves Coffee House Columbia. Thank you to Waves for providing us the space to connect each month and offering FREE drip coffee! ☕️ 

Each event will be held on the FIRST WEDNESDAY of each month at the same time and location. The only thing that will change is the TOPIC. This month's topic is "Tips for Preparing Small Business Contracts". Dave, a small business lawyer, will discuss the important steps to take in order to curate a business contract that supports and protects your business that is clear and effective for your potential clients.

About Dave:

Dave Barroqueiro is a Portuguese-born, Canadian-raised business lawyer with macushlaw, based in Gastown, Vancouver. His corporate/commercial law practice has been focused on small-and-medium sized businesses (SMB), technology and e-commerce, privacy and data protection, creative industries, and more recently, on non-profit societies and charities. A dreamer and a do-er himself, Dave has always loved working with fellow dreamers and do-ers to support them in achieving their goals while operating on sound legal footing. Among other corporate/commercial functions, contract drafting and review is a major component of Dave’s practice. 

Dave was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2021, and started with macushlaw in February 2025.

 Dave has long-running ties to New Westminster – having family in the City; attending Douglas College; working a job at the River Market in his young adulthood; basing his rock band out of Bully’s Studios, and currently, Front Street; and now, as a resident of Uptown New West, something about the Royal City has always kept Dave coming back.
